History of the RCW Tag Team Championship

Many tag teams in Texas wrestling within the last decade made a name for themselves by becoming the RCW Tag Team Champions. Here's a look at the ineage for this title.

The Texas Treats Don Juan & Chris Marval	1	June 23, 2006	San Antonio, TX	Defeated The Nerdy Boys to win the titles.
The Shadow Alliance Joey Spector & Wally Darkmon	1	June 23, 2006	San Antonio, TX	While being interviewed about winning the titles, The Treats said they would defend the titles any time, any place, anywhere as long as there was a bell and a referee. The Shadow Alliance snuck up from behind, rang a bell, rolled up the Treats and a referee counted the three. The footage was shown on the inaugural broadcast of RCW's TV show "RCW on KCWX."
The Texas Treats Don Juan & Chris Marval	2	Aug. 5, 2006	San Antonio, TX	Defeated The Shadow Alliance and The Nerdy Boys in a Triple Threat Tag Team Scramble Match to win the titles.
The Coalition of Caucasian Knights The Messiah and Scott McKenzie	1	Jan. 27, 2007	San Antonio, TX	Defeated The Texas Treats to win the titles.
The Hardbodies Joey Spector (2) & Andy Dalton	1	March 10, 2007	San Antonio, TX	The Hardbodies, then-managed by Brandon Oliver, were actually fan favorites in this victory over the Caucasian Knights.
The Texas Treats Don Juan & Chris Marval	3	Sept. 9, 2007	San Antonio, TX	The feuding Texas Treats won the titles for the third time over The Hardbodies, whom were also having problems. RCW went on hiatus in Nov. 2007 and returned in Aug. 2008 were The Treats began defending the titles again.
The Big Time Playas Scott McKenzie (2) & Danny Matthews (1)	1	Oct. 25, 2008	San Antonio, TX	Defeated The Texas Treats in a Fan Lumberjack Strap Match to win the titles. Titles declared vacant on March 21, 2009 when Commissioner Joe Reinagel stripped them of the titles after Matthews had an injury.
The HNIC Big Dogg & Weazy Woo	1	March 21, 2009	San Antonio, TX	Defeated The Gulf Coast Connection (Ben Galvan & Rudy Russo) to fill the title vacancy.
Hotstuff Hernandez & Ryan Genesis	1	March 22, 2009	San Antonio, TX	Defeated The HNIC one day later to win the titles.
The HNIC Big Dogg (2) & Keith Lee	1	May 23, 2009	San Antonio, TX	Defeated Ryan Genesis and Ben Galvan (subbing for Hernandez) to win the titles.
Keith Lee & The Gulf Coast Connection Ben Galvan & Rudy Russo	1	July 18, 2009	San Antonio, TX	Prior to the match, Keith Lee announced that since he didn't bring his half of the title, only Big Dogg's half was up for grabs. Russo pinned Big Dogg as The HNIC continued to implode.
Keith Lee	1	Aug. 1, 2009	San Antonio, TX	With Trina Michaels as his valet, Lee defeated The Gulf Coast Connection in a Handicap Match to solidify the Tag Team Championship. Special guest referee for the match was Mick Foley.
The HNIC Keith Lee & Jerome Daniels	1	Aug. 15, 2009	San Antonio, TX	Keith Lee was ordered by Joe Reinagel to choose a tag team partner. Lee chose "Flawless" Jerome Daniels.
The Texas Hitmen Big Dogg (3) & Skitzo	1	Aug. 15 2009	San Antonio, TX	The Texas Hitmen defeated Keith Lee & Jerome Daniels for the titles in a match that ripped The HNIC apart.
"El Mamacito" Ann Dromeda & "The Extreme Aztec" SKAM-13	1	Sept. 5, 2009	San Antonio, TX	Ann Dromeda & SKAM-13 defeated The Texas Hitmen to win the titles.
The Texas Hitmen Big Dogg (4) & Skitzo (2)	1	February 6, 2010	San Antonio, TX	The Texas Hitmen defeated Ann Dromeda & SKAM-13 in a Tables Match.
Jax Dane & Ryan Sorenson	1	June 5, 2010	San Antonio, TX	Jax & Sorenson defeated The Texas Hitmen. Sorenson & Jax accepted the challenge after the Collins Bros did not show. However, in early August 2010 Sorenson suffered a devastating knee injury, and due to the injury and Jax Dane's absence on the August 7 event, it was decided by the RCW Management to declare the title vacant.
Southern Sex Appeal Danny Matthews (2) & Scott McKenzie (3)	2	November 6, 2010	San Antonio, TX	Previously known as The Big Time Playaz and despite losing a first round match in the tournament, McKenzie and Matthews were re-inserted under their new moniker Southern Sex Appeal by Co-Commissioner Ray The Voice. In the finals, Southern Sex Appeal defeated Ann Dromeda and Numero Dos, The Karate Kids, and Ryan Sorenson and SKAM-13 in a Four Corners Match.
San Antonio's Most Unwanted Joey "Super Shot" Spector (3), Nemesis, Pink, Major Mike and Chris Sifuentes	1	December 11, 2010	San Antonio, TX	Teaming for the first time, The Unwanted added Nemesis to the stable and were placed into a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match and defeated Ann Dromeda/King Numero Dos, The Karate Kids, and Southern Sex Appeal. On January 8, 2011, a ruling was made that allowed all five members of The Unwanted to be recognized as champions and thus can defend the championship as a group.
Alissa Flash and Darci Drake	1	May 5, 2011	San Antonio, TX	Alissa Flash and Darci Drake defeated San Antonio's Most Unwanted in a Fan Lumberjack Strap Match. With the loss, the Unwanted had to disband.
Gulf Coast Connect Ben Galvan, Rudy Russo, AJ Summers	1	September 3, 2011	San Antonio, TX	Rudy Russo and AJ Summers defeated Flash & Darci. With Flash getting pinned, she had to leave RCW for 90 days.
Honkey Kong and Jingo Wallabee	1	October 1, 2011	San Antonio, TX	Honkey Kong and Jingo Wallabee defeated Rudy Russo and AJ Summers of the Gulf Coast Connection.
Team Insanity "Dark Demon" Muerte and the maniacal Nemesis	1	January 7, 2012	San Antonio, TX	Muerte and Nemesis defeated Jingo Wallabee and Honkey Kong, Gulf Coast Connection and Steve McEnroe and Quinten Allen in a Tag Team Gauntlet when Muerte pinned McEnroe.
