The History of River City Wrestling
Since 2002, River City Wrestling (RCW) has been the home of professional wrestling in San Antonio, Texas. Founded by Brandon Oliver, RCW was built with a simple vision: create a promotion that would showcase the best talent in Texas while delivering unforgettable entertainment to wrestling fans across South Texas. RCW has remained under the same ownership since its founding and continues to be one of the longest-running independent wrestling promotions in the state.
Over more than two decades, RCW has presented nearly 100 live events, introduced countless future stars to San Antonio audiences, and provided a platform for local wrestlers to develop their craft in front of passionate fans. From intimate venues to major special events, RCW has become a fixture of the San Antonio wrestling community.
